The Straight Shot:
I am writing to share my harrowing experience of human rights abuse by both the Swedish and Egyptian states since 2023. As someone who has endured a long journey of suffering, I am now able to provide a brief account of my ordeal in the hopes of raising awareness and seeking justice.
I would like to will outline the various human rights violations I have faced, the impact on my life, and the actions taken by the Swedish and Egyptian governments. My intention is to highlight the urgency for reform and the need for international intervention to prevent similar cases in the future.
I am a music Artist and IT that still own active company in Sweden who found myself caught between two states due to personal circumstances. In 2019, I began to experience a series of human rights abuses that have severely impacted my life and well-being.
I demonstrates remarkable determination and resourcefulness. In 2012 and 2013, they successfully completed the Swedish Language Course (SFI) and a “Start Your Own Business” course. Building upon these achievements, they established an IT support company in mid-2013, which allowed them to generate income from home. And In 2018, I even achieved another significant milestone by earning a Swedish driver’s license. This accomplishment not only enhanced their independence but also expanded their opportunities for personal and professional growth.
As my business prospered, i relocated my operations to an office in Stockholm’s Årstafältet area. Later, in 2016, they moved to another office in Skarpnäck. Unfortunately, following my deportation, I was not unable to continue paying rent for the Skarpnäck office, starting from January 1, 2024. Consequently, I’am unsure if my belongings are still there.
Further compounding my struggles, my economic situation has significantly deteriorated. I’am currently battling poor health and lack any stable source of income. This harrowing account serves as a testament to the resilience of the human spirit and the importance of providing support to those facing similar challenges.
Back to October 2019 and while im waiting for my asylum procedures, I was brutally attacked by a gang member who owed them money. In the middle of the night, I was viciously assaulted, resulting in severe injuries, including over 80 stitches on their face due to knife stabbings. i also experienced a loss of sensation on the right side of their lips and face.
And right after the severe assault they thought that I was dead and The perpetrators, who had intimate knowledge of my life, stole my car and used it to break into my office. The criminals had access to mykeys, making it easier for them to commit the theft and inflict significant damage. They stole valuable items from the office and after setting the car ablaze, disappeared without a trace.
Despite reporting the incidents to the police, who received two separate alarms about the car and my injured body in different locations, the cases were inexplicably closed. As a result, I did not receive compensation for the damages incurred during the office break-in or for the valuable items that were stolen, amounting to a loss of over $30,000. This loss included a significant portion of my investments and savings, adding to the challenges they have faced throughout their journey.
Following the attack, i underwent three brain bleeding surgeries after two months due to a hospital mistake. The medical staff failed to carefully assess their head injuries and trauma, leading to complications that required additional procedures. As a result, i had to endure a lengthy rehabilitation and medical treatment process.
Despite these challenges, the damages to my brain and its impact on my body and mental functions remain. This harrowing experience has left a lasting impact on my life, and i continue to face the consequences of the attack and the subsequent medical errors.
My journey serves as a testament to my strength and resilience in the face of adversity, and my determination to overcome these challenges and seek justice for the injustices they have suffered.
I laments that, to this day, Swedish institutions, including insurance providers, have failed to offer support in my case. i feel ignored and neglected by the very systems that should be assisting them in my time of need. This sentiment is further intensified by the refusal of the medical state insurance to pay my sickness benefits, despite being aware of my right to receive such support.
The situation becomes even more disheartening for me as i believe that the lack of assistance is directly linked to my status as a foreigner. i argue that
the Swedish institutions seem to disregard my health issues, which have been caused or exacerbated by the actions of Swedish civilians. Additionally, i feels that their deportation has further contributed to this indifference towards their well-being.
I plight highlights the importance of addressing the challenges faced by foreigners in seeking justice and support from the very systems that are meant to protect and care for them. My experiences serve as a reminder of the need for empathy, understanding, and fair treatment for individuals navigating complex legal and healthcare systems in unfamiliar territories.
I would like to provide a harrowing description of my deportation process, which i believe was tainted by the actions of Swedish institutions. I alleges that these entities shared faulty information with the Egyptian Embassy in Sweden and the Egyptian Airport security staff, potentially even involving important Egyptian politicians.
After being groovy assaulted in the Swedish airplane and fainted As a result, I was taken to the Egyptian airport in deplorable conditions, without money, identification, or any medical aid. I was subjected to inhumane treatment during the deportation process, being dressed in a pajama, insulted, I was tightly handcuffed, Foot cuffed, wrapped around the airplane seat, with a bumper over their head. and mistreated like an animal. This additional layer of restraint further emphasizes the inhumane treatment i endured during the deportation process. This treatment was in stark contrast to the basic human rights i expected to be upheld.
Upon arrival in Egypt, I was also tightly handcuffed and rubbed with a long belt over a metal seat like an animal and beated many time but my only request was to speak with a representative from a human rights organization or my lawyer, Matilda Persson from Juridium lawyer office in Sweden. a doctor to check me up because and to let me lay over a bed or on the ground because my head trauma I was no suppose to ride a plane and I had a sever headache after the trip. In my vulnerable physical and mental state, I experienced multiple fainting and paralyzing episodes, and even had a witness to the events who was understandably frightened.
Despite my precarious condition, I was left without proper medical treatment upon arrival in Egypt. i continue to shed light on the deportation process and the alleged human rights violations they endured, hoping to bring attention to the injustices i faced and advocate for change in the way foreigners are treated during such delicate situations.
Findings:
1. Freedom of Movement: My right to free movement was significantly limited due to the actions of both the Swedish and Egyptian governments. After 13 years of residing in Sweden since 2011, I suddenly faced deportation proceedings and experienced extended detentions for 9 months. I was held in isolation sections in Märsta, Gävle, and Flen. Following that, the police and migration authorities disregarded my critical medical condition, which included brain damage and a medical advice against air travel. As a result, I was emotionally devastated and left paralyzed during the trip, receiving no medical care whatsoever. Upon arrival at the Egyptian airport, I was subjected to a night of severe assault, torture, and emotional abuse. This caused immense emotional distress and disruption to my life, leaving me in immense pain with bruises all over my body and a strong headache. When I requested medical assistance, they merely threw me out of the airport after realizing that my mental and physical state were not stable.
2. Physical Injuries and Damage: As a result of my arbitrary arrest and detention, you suffered severe physical injuries, including brain damage with moderate cerabral Atrophy, neurological issues, a damaged left knee, and leg injuries that required a ventilator and foot surgery. These injuries have significantly impacted the quality of life and daily functioning.
Part of the medical treatments are going to cost 500000$ discluding the travel and residency cost
3. Mental Health Consequences: In addition to the physical damage, ihave been diagnosed with PTSD and have experienced significant emotional distress due to my ordeal. This has led to a need for ongoing psychological support and medication to manage these symptoms.
4. Lack of Financial Support and Belongings: Upon my release, I was left without any financial support in Egypt, while my belongings and personal items remained in Sweden. This has created additional hardships and challenges in my recovery process. Furthermore, the absence of family or relatives in Egypt has made my situation even more difficult.
5. Inadequate Post-Release Support: The Swedish and Egyptian governments’ failure to provide proper post-release support, including medical care, financial assistance, and repatriation, has significantly compounded the human rights abuses I have faced.
6. After all these awful incident the Swedish police announced me as a wanted terrorist and blocked me all over Schengen
Right to a Fair Trial: My right to a fair trial was grossly violated by the Egyptian and the Swedish authorities. I was subjected to unfair legal procedures, lack of access to legal representation, and coerced confessions. This led to an unjust conviction and an unreasonably long prison sentence.
Torture and Ill-treatment: During my detention in Sweden and Egypt, I was subjected to torture and other forms of ill-treatment, which constitute a grave violation of my human rights. These inhumane practices left me with physical and psychological scars that continue to affect my life.
In addition to seeking justice through the European Court of Human Rights, i wishes to bring attention to the Swedish authorities’ actions in sharing their asylum application for protection in Sweden with the Egyptian police. This decision has led to being humiliated, wrongfully detained, and tortured upon arrival at the Egyptian airport.
